USGS/UC Berkeley Calistoga Geyser Field Study May 2010 These thermal imaging data were collected using a 640x480 resolution FLIR A320. Data are nominally in degrees Celsius. Factory settings (for example, for the assumed emissivity) were used. Recording were for 1 minute, however, frame rate varies between recordings and within recordings. Observed minimum framerate was ~14 fps, and maximum framerate was a little above 30 fps. The seq directory contains .seq files. These are FLIR data, which can be read using Thermovision ExaminIR software. The csv directory contains .csv files for each frame of the .seq files. Initially, I am uploading all the .seq files, and .csvs for a subset of the eruptions. The METADATA file is a transcription from my field notebook. It contains the time of eruption start (plus or minus 1 minute), the interval between eruptions (hand-measured with stopwatch, good to within 2 seconds), and the framerate for the corresponding recordings. Unfortunately, I have not figured out how to tag each frame with the exact time of acquisition. TThe .seq file reports the framerate on playback, so this should be possible.
