BARD Network DOI:10.7932/BARD

BARD is a network of continuously operating Global Positioning System receivers in Northern California. The primary goal of the network is to monitor crustal deformation across the Pacific-North America plate boundary and in the San Francisco Bay Area for earthquake hazard reduction studies and rapid earthquake emergency response assessment. Data from these stations are transmitted to UC Berkeley. Data are stored at the Northern California Earthquake Data Center operated by the Berkeley Seismological Laboratory. For current BARD network information as well as individual station pages, please see the NCEDC BARD pages. The BDSN has the network code BK.

BARD has the DOI (Digital Object Identifier) 10.7932/BARD. This allows citation of and reference to BARD easily and uniquely.
