Professor Hans-Rudolf Wenk earned Ph.D from University of Zurich in 1964. He will be on sabbatical leave in 2001, with collaborative projects in Metz, Lyon, Grenoble, Trento and Bayreuth. His main research interests are crystallography, mineralogy, and structural geology, with special interest in texture analysis and anistropy development in deformed materials, as studied by x-ray, neutron and electron diffraction and by modeling.
